Eleanor founded Harborview Law Chambers in 2008 with a clear purpose: to provide family law representation that is as technically rigorous as it is personally respectful. With more than twenty-five years at the Bar, she has guided hundreds of clients through divorce, child custody disputes, and complex matrimonial asset proceedings — always with the understanding that the legal process is only one part of a much larger life transition.
Her practice philosophy is grounded in the belief that the best outcomes are reached when clients feel heard, informed, and in control. Eleanor is known for her meticulous preparation and calm demeanour in negotiations, but she is equally prepared to advance her clients' interests firmly in court when an amicable settlement is not achievable. She has particular experience in high-value asset division involving business interests, trusts, and cross-border holdings, as well as in international child relocation matters.
Beyond her practice, Eleanor is an accredited family mediator and has served as a volunteer mediator with the Family Justice Courts. She regularly lectures on matrimonial law at the Singapore Institute of Legal Education and has contributed to practitioner texts on financial remedies and child welfare. Her commitment to discretion and sensitivity remains the defining quality of her work.
